Ahh..another night..another show! I won’t be doing as extensive updates as Friday (setlist, etc), but I will keep you posted if anything out of the ordinary goes down tonight at the Hammerstein! Any special guests, special happenings or new song information will be passed along.
So check back every so often tonight..you never know what might happen...after all it is a Guns N’ Roses show!
10:15 p.m. - Just got a call from BP-Getting ready to walk into show..and who does he walk in the venue with? None other than SNL’s Jimmy Falon. He has on a GnR shirt and ready to rock!

The final countdown has begun...and the clock reads zero...yes my fellow Gunner fans..tonight is OPENING night for Guns N’ Roses!
As previously reported, we will be keeping you up-to-date as best we can. We have roving reporters at the show, cell phones in hand, ready to share the mayhem and madness. Hopefully we will have the set list, pictures and guitarist news.

8:00 pm: "The line is snaking its way from theater entrance down the block, around the block, around the corner and up 9th Ave to 36th street—and it’s still growing. Never seen anything like it."
8:11 p.m. - "Now line bends back down 36th towards 8th avenue..."
8:44 p.m. - BP just called and said they are letting people in now and "security is pretty tight." Says he will try to text as much as he can (I am also getting reliable texting from another source) and wanted me to extend a HELLO to EVERYBODY!
9:11 p.m. - "Bullet For My Valentine just started. They’ll make GnR sound that much better."
9:24 p.m. - "Stage Design: Red arcs angling outward on sides of stage. Vertical GNR banners with new chinese font and graphics - MUCH improved from the ’02 look. Cream colored with black or dark brown font. Great t-shirts as well. All graphics are substantially better than 2002."
9:54 p.m. - BP: "They are changing stage for GnR right now. The floor seat area reeks of marijuana!!!"
11:00 p.m. - "Lights just went down.Crowd chanting "Guns N’ Roses, Guns N’ Roses."

I just wanted to add a few things we weren’t able to for the Wednesday show. Izzy showed up for ’Think About You’, Patience, and Nightrain. Kid Rock showed up for Nightrain to sing with the band and Axl.
The shows and band got better and better the more they played. Bumblefoot, being in the band just a week, has come a long way from Friday’s opening night to Wednesday’s closing.
I must say that Axl during these 4 nights at Hammerstein Ballroom has sounded great. and better than any show during the whole 2002 tour. Simply amazing times in the big apple. Much Love, -BP
